Dear Friends, persons who were adopted from Lebanon,

Badael-Alternatives is launching a forum of messages from adoptees with information in English and Arabic concerning the adoptee's search for family and origins.

If you are interested in sharing your story, please write your message and send us the following information with baby and recent photos:

Name
Date of Birth
Location of birth (city/orphanage/hospital if stated in documents)
Names mentioned in papers (First name/Mother/Father/Family)
Country of adoption
Other relevant information
My message

You also have the option of shooting a short video of 2-3 minutes maximum. For conformity's sake, you are asked to follow these instructions:

Hold the camera or the phone horizontally;
Make sure to be in a place where the sound will be clear;
Start by saying: "My name is.... I was born on (date)... and I was adopted from (orphanage or ? if known) in Lebanon to (country)."
Give more specific information about your adoption if you wish, or describe what you are hoping to find via the message.
